Anyone have experience working CWX side of Facebook (Meta) ? These are the full time contract roles that potentially turn into permanent roles directly with Facebook (Meta). Had a recruiter reach out and offering me comparable TC and such, just curious if anyone has experience in these roles and success/failure of transitioning into permanent role. Thanks in advance!

That happened to me once. It felt like an inquisition from start to end. My takeaway was they weren’t happy so why would I want to work with them? Dodged a bullet!
Thankfully this hasn’t been the majority of my experiences.. but the higher up the role, the more of a power trip they seem to be on 🙄
The recruiter's job is to generate candidates. The interviewer's job is to eliminate.
As someone that has also been the interviewer, my priority is to seek the best fit for the role, not to turn off / eliminate as many candidates as possible. So it’s frustrating to continually see this from the other side of the table!
It always seems like there is one good cop and one bad cop. I always read it as it being part of their personality but also the interviewer trying to see how you handle that type of personality, especially when some clients can be like that. But I could be totally off and it’s just because their assholes.
I agree that it’s a reflection on how they really feel about the job. I recently did lot of interviewing and had one where I felt like I being tested on how I handle assholes. They also listed the endless challenges the account had I think they wanted to see how I would reply to that as well. Made me want to run away!!! If that was at their best, I didn’t want to find out what the worst was like.
