Why are there so many bottom feeder recruiters out there? I just got messaged by 5 of them within a couple of minutes. Each did a speedy unwarranted resume review, followed by a high-pressure push to use their resume writer (each sent me a Fiverr link). Real recruiters don’t do that, right?

I’ve made it to the 3rd round interviewing at three different firms over the past month, and the feedback I’m getting has all been very similar: they think I’m really great, but it’s not the right time. Why spend 4-6 hours interviewing me just to say there isn’t actually a current role for me? Should I be reading between the lines (if so what does it mean?) or pressing harder for more detailed feedback?

I recently saw a job opening at a company that I really love, and would like to apply. The recruiter has posted it on her Linkedin several times, each time with multiple hashtags about diversity. I am straight off the Mayflower white. Does applying look super tone-deaf? Is this an unofficial way of stating that they’re only considering non-white individuals for the role?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? All my applications are under one login with the parent company's website.
