You are trying too hard
This is the worst take I’ve seen in a while and that’s a high bar
Talent Acquisition folks balance what their client needs with the right candidate. Even if you’re 90% of TA people are women statement is correct- the overwhelming amount of candidates for Tech consulting roles are male. If you’re talking Data- it’s 70ish % male to 30ish % female. Are you actually insinuating that the TA professionals are not letting qualified applicants through? That’s a big stretch…
I think it's an issue of self selection, not as many women want to go down the high finance route, and rightfully so, this route is toxic af. So the very few women who do go this route are entering a role that is mainly dominated by men just due to the dynamics of the past. The MD's are ruthless, cutthroat and just terrible people to work for. They bend the knee in front of clients, throw analysts under the bus, and some are blatant misogynists. This also goes for consulting, private equity and VC as well.
Okay BA rant/pointless post time over. Time to get back to your slides they are due EOD today
I can understand your knee jerk reaction to what some might find to be a controversial post. I think I'm onto something though.

I think HH select mostly white candidates who would survive in this environment. I tried working with Glocap which is a PE recruiting firm, as a minority. They were extremely rude and I stopped working with them.
