Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

Traditionally, because you look like a quitter. Its customary—traditionally—to give it a year and try to make it work, and saying it was “crazy” or “toxic” is—traditionally—seen as reflecting on you, making a poor choice. And then why would a new employer make a commitment to you if youll just bolt again, etc.
Theres a general push now to just not care what anyone thinks and do whatever you want the very minute you want to do it (or not do it). And honestly, if thats the only one of those on your resume its probably ok. But two or three and you start to look like a flight risk.
I think that’s garbage. I was in a situation where I was recruited twice during two different jobs I had less than a year and each job was higher pay.
Advice like that is meant to keep employees repressed. At both jobs, I did great work and had pieces to show for it and if the timespan ever comes up, I’ll be honest about it. 🤷♀️

Thats a good idea, just be honest. In your post you said it was because the agency “lied.” Now you say it was because you got a better offer. If I was interviewing you, either way, thats exactly who I wouldnt want to hire—someone who will leave as soon as they can, someone who’s only thinking of themselves.
But there might be places who think thats really cool—or just want to use you for long hours and get rid of you as soon as they can.
There are definitely asshole agencies who dont respect hiring someone for the long term—maybe they call that “garbage” too—and it would be nice if they were honest about it. So thats the best way of finding similar-minded people to work with.
People sometimes include it and call it freelance or contract work.
Honesty is the best policy. Honestly. Just be honest and truthful. Especially if you have nothing to hide.
I kept it on and it hasn’t been an issue for me 🤷♀️
