Why does every productivity tip assume a neurotypical brain? “Just make a list,” they say, as if writing things down magically means I’ll follow through. I have lists—dozens of them—half-finished in notebooks, apps, and sticky notes scattered across my desk. If it were that easy, wouldn’t we all be masters of organization by now? Instead, I need systems, accountability, and sometimes sheer trickery to get things done. What’s the most frustrating piece of one-size-fits-all advice you’ve been given? And have you found any ADHD-friendly productivity hacks that actually work?

There are tons of adhd friendly productivity hacks. I find that the hard part is identifying what works for you and being able to shift when a tool isnt working in a specific situation or in a given day. Also, I think most productivity hacks can be made to be adhd friendly, you just have to experiment with modifying things to work for you. I.e. maybe you need to make your list and then use it to time block your calendar or narrow it down to top priorities or gameify crossing things off the list.

I truly felt you on this. I have about a million and one post it notes everywhere with all my lists on them. It doesn't mean I will have the motivation to actually do the things on said list or be able to focus long enough to get those things done.

I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1
Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.

I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.

Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?

Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?

Hey guys! Currently in WM ops at Morgan Stanley for the past 1 year dealing with alternative lending, I’m super underpaid with 3 years of experience which is very frustrating. (73k). Just here to say I’m so thankful we have this safe space. People who aren’t diagnosed generally have misconceptions about ADHD and its symptoms, and I’m so grateful we have this bowl to seek help, learn from one another, and sometimes just vent! I told my boss about my ADHD in confidence because I was looking for a small accommodation (working from home x2 a week). I got it, but now I lowkey feel like she told other people in the office. I'm not sure if I'm being paranoid but someone I'm friendly with in HR has been acting weird since Monday, which is when I told my boss. Would she have to tell HR legally? What should I do?

For those who were diagnosed as an adult can you provide some insight into how you were able to obtain a diagnosis. I went to my primary care dr who referred me to another dr who specialized in mental health. He asked me about 5 questions before telling me I should see a neuropsychologist for an official assessment. The referral he gave me is super pricey and apparently isn’t covered by insurance. Is that normal?

Hey so like - newfound reason for my procrastination since I got on Ritalin - a tendency towards "putting things off so I can enjoy the hyperfocus later".
