Many #machinelearning algorithms, whether supervised or unsupervised, make use of distance measures.
Take k-NN for example, a technique often used for supervised learning. As a default, it often uses euclidean distance.
By itself, a great distance measure.
Knowing when to use which distance measure can help you go from a poor classifier to an accurate model.

I need a friend with benefits at ATL too. 6 feet, 300 lbs, muscular, blonde 🙋🏻♂️
I fly out of ATL weekly and the above post isn't accurate. I roll up to my gate when we're boarding and have never had a problem. If you have Precheck you really only need to get to the airport 30 minutes before your boarding time to make it (and will still have time).
I concur with D1. As long as you have TSA pre, you are good to go. But if you aren't familiar with the airport, add a 15 minute buffer
@D1 & D2... I live here also. Depending on traffic, an hour and a half is reasonable. And the official rule is 45 min or the can deny you. So, it is accurate. Happened in Atlanta last week to rapper Young Thug. His reaction was horrible but my point is, it's true. Good day!
If you leave the airport, make sure you're back an hour and a half b4 your flight. Gotta be at the gate 45 min before takeoff. Enjoy the city!!!
Thanks all! Will try to get out
