That would depend on what you want to do. If you want to continue in accounting, an MBA is not going to help you. If you want to go into consulting or finance, an MBA could help you.
Correct. Public accounting doesn’t really care about your MBA.
Leadership maybe, staying in accounting I wouldn’t bother.
Depends on what you want to do, and more importantly where you go. An on-like MBA from GCU “technically” checks the MBA box, but looks a heck of a lot different than an in-person program at a top school
I would say it would be helpful if your end goal was to be CFO. Anything else, especially if you're already a CPA, is probably not going to benefit you much. Just my personal opinion
