Wipro I have resgined few days ago. My supervisor has preponed ny notice period from 90 days to just 1 day. What should I do now? I have talked to hr manager they're not agreeing and saying it is written in your offer letter that after resignation, company can relieve you anytime. What should I do now? They have decided 31 -08 as as last date so thay I can't even get annual MSI (merit salary increase) which is effective from September. I need urgent help. I will get jobless coz of their politics
Were you on bench? For a billable resource they can't relieve so early..anyways look at the positive side of it. Most companies are looking for immediate joiners and you have an excellent advantage.I would have been very happy if I was you
No use of arguing with Wipro..ask you future company to prepone joining date.they would do it
Use this to your advantage . Tell you new employer that you have discussed with current manager and manager waived off notice period . Ask to the new employer that now if he will join soon , will the new company offer joining bonus
If you have offer letter from other company, inform them and try to join immediately. If you don't have, look for another job as an immediate joiner. It's not worth to talk with current company.
They mailed me this also: You will be paid the Notice pay for the days remaining as shortfall and any payable leaves applicable.

What is the policy. Is it full or basic salary
And 1yoe is completely useless
Its very dangerous to play such games at 1 yoe
Even if your notice period is 90 days away you will not get MSI . Your letter would be on hold once you resign.
Can I get the letter somehow? Because I think it will come through automated mail. Also, @Wipro please tell me what all documents should I download before access to my wipro is disabled.

Don't resign without offer letter, but there is a chance that you might get huge no of calls.
But i guess you got into a company as your new company name is showing up.
You are lucky enough. Immediate joiner are hot cakes in the market. You can negotiate for better offer and maximum joining bonus
Take 5 days sick leave technical that should extend your notice period.
You can get a job easily within a week
As someone pointed you are not eligible for appraisal once you have resigned. And dont panic at all mark it on naukari as immediate joinee plus get more joining bonus. you”ll easily find job in next 10-15 days

Never resign without an offer in hand. U are an immediate joiner. This is your advantage now.
