You do you, who cares what others think.
I was using plat as a 0+4
BA, we dont have CSR in Europe but that would be my choice if you’re US based
Read the points guy post on it - it’s worth it if you travel a lot, but some of that value is still redundant if you have a CSR for personal use, don’t fly delta, etc. All of the benefits are geared towards significant travel.
Wait 6 months maybe before play, but pay the $90 to earn points immediately
FWIW, in my 4 years at the firm, I’ve seen only one person with non-green Corp Amex. But a lot pay the $90 for points
I use Amex Platinum and Uber Visa. It's great for earning max points and getting great benefits. Make sure to look into the difference between consumer vs corporate Platinum cards.
It doesn’t make sense to get the Corp Amex plat, get a personal one to get the Uber and travel credits or the csr (way better)
If you fly delta and don’t yet have global entry (and don’t put a lot of spend on personal credit cards) I do think it’s worth it. No shame no matter which card you have. No one cares.
@mck1 thanks that’s helpful. Unfortunately don’t have the option of CSR, these are the options I have for the corporate card (and I’d pay the different fees for each)
Thanks for all the help everyone - much appreciated!!
