I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?
McKinsey & Company Hi all! Any fishes at BCG and/or McK have time to chat sometime within the next few days/weeks?
I’m a consulting analyst at Accenture, really interested in strategy work (mainly tech/software clients but open to all backgrounds) hoping to make the jump some time next year. I’d very much appreciate connecting to understand your journey with the firms and the work you do.
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!

I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Hello! Anyone work at GE Healthcare?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

No if you have stayed as SM you are on for partner track. 30% is not worth losing brand name, your network, clients and exit opps unless you really need the money or hate your current job
Brands don't matter skills do. Go where you think you will learn more and have the right mentorship/sponsorship. Really think about how well you gel with the people and their mindsets. Money should not be the reason for the change.

If you are planning on and likely hitting Partner, no. If you were gonna leave anyways and take it slower (not necessarily job, but travel and other life things like health), yes. If this is a stepping stone in the direction you want because of industry change or think the stock appreciation will be worth something, maybe.
Yes, the brand effect is real and that will be hard to bounce from without a proper network. If you end up taking a step lower in a few years at the same salary as this new role, but with a bigger brand, would you be okay with that? The answer is going to matter, just in case.

Isthat 30% at 100 or 30% at 200. I know 30%is 30% but jump off 30 or 60 could matter depending on your current life.
30 percent at 200
I would worry about the recession more as small companies have less buffer and need to make cuts faster during hard times. Also with total comp in big company benefits vs small you might be overstating. Most smaller firms have less competitive retirement match and higher healthcare premiums. Good points about network above but you already have the brand on your resume. I’d stick it out for now with recession looming but would’ve told you to jump a year ago when market was hot.

30% more of your current base? Are you making 6 digits now or will it make you earn 6 digits after switching? There are pros and cons but that all depends on what you're after. If it's the salary or the stability.
