If you got hit with a late fee, call and get it reversed. Most cards will do this at least once a year. If you just missed the payment, it usually takes two consecutive late payments for them to report it as late.
Um? Not sure what you are asking but ask the bank and they'll probably forgive you. I know on one of my cards I can be up to five days late without consequences.
Your credit report doesn't show payments that were less than 30 days late. So, in your case, no.
When you have one late payment - I forgot that I used a depth store card for like $15 and paid it 3 months the late - call the cc company and explain. They were like "No big deal. We understand." They forgive each client at least once a year.
You should be fine. It's when you miss the payment billing cycle that it starts to impact your credit score.
Even if you did. It is fine to have one late fee on your record. It doesn't really change that much. However, if you had two that would noticeably change it
It only shows up on your credit report if the card company files a report with the credit monitoring service. This typically happens when the item is sent into collections, not when you've just received a late fee.
No
If you missed it by one day, you are fine. Credit typically report payments that are late for more than 60days.

There's some weak advice in this post: if you miss a minimum payment, pay the next day and say fuck it, yes that will get flagged and reported as a late payment. A single late payment can have a decent negative impact (40pts, as an example) on your credit score. But, as others have alluded to, make a payment and call the lender. They're required to give you a pass on two late payments a year - the caveat being you have to actually pay at least the required minimum, and that you ask for a pass. You won't notice it for a while, they usually take a month to report a late payment, then it could take another month or two before it even hits a credit report. Short story, pay the minimum but do not forget to call asap. Bonus: do t get into a habit of paying the minimum, your credit report will stay clean, but those interest charges are ungodly.
Agree with interest charge and take care of payments. Missing one payment does not drop your credit score even close to 40 points. And even so, your credit can probably handle it
