How do you get back into a structured routine after going on vacation? It's always awful for me. I have next week off and I'm hoping to have an easier transition into work life when I get back this time around.

Any idea why the gas prices could have spiked by $.25 overnight? Scanned the news for any events that could impact it, but can't figure out why. I expected it last weekend w/ holiday travel and usually it goes up by a few cents to $.10 at max gradually. I was just surprised that it went up $.25 overnight.

Anyone hiring those who have been out of work for a year? I took time off to tend to personal matters, but I am now looking to get back into the workforce again. My previous experience includes time at B4 audit up to senior level and then transitioned to manager in industry. Senior/manager roles are preferred.

I don’t mind audit. However, I’d prefer it not to be at a B4, as I am looking for some semblance of a work life balance.

What is the expected utilization target for someone who recently started?

A few days ago I was offered a role for a recruiter with a company. Benefits, PTO, pay is decent, enough to get me by. I accepted today because it was the final day to do so. I was then called by a recruiter for another company, in which they made me a better offer for a Generalist and I want to take this one. What do I do? I didn’t sign a contract, there’s no clause that states I need to take the position.

What are your thoughts on open relationships? I’ve never been in one. The idea itself of not having sex with the same person for the rest of your life I get. But in reality I just don’t know if I can do it personally. Anybody else struggle with this? I feel like most of the community wants open and I just don’t know if I’ll ever get there.
