How much is a good hourly salary rate for an entry-level position at a major clothing store chain? I was offered $16 an hour, which is one dollar above minimum wage in my state. It's not too bad, but I am worried about my shifts, they're all over the place.

I am a project manager with the strong desire to transition into product management but I’m feeling a little discouraged. Every opportunity I come across mentions 7-10 years experience. Had a recent job offer from Amazon TC 146 K sign on bonus 42K RSU 508 for a L6 Sr. Program manager based out of Nashville. This is barely more than the amount I make now(actually base is lower than what I make). I’m planning to ask for about 18% more, is that a high number? Does anyone have an idea how much Amazon negotiates? This is for a non tech role so I’m not sure of the exact salary range.

I’ve been thinking about this for awhile now, but it is very to commit to actually accept a new job offer since I really do love my job. My only complaint is, the pay vs workload is very small. I’m a manager now and my property offered me a director position… but the salary is still low! To make six figures, it’ll take another 5-6 years to grind it out.

On one hand, I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from one of the best, but he also excoriates and belittles me for my mistakes. Any advice on how much it tolerable? I am here to learn and advance my career but he can be pretty nasty.
