Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

What is project specific BGC in TCS?
I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

I don't think it can be done at an agency level. But certainly maybe at a team level! Thursday is my day and a co worker has Fridays as hers. Even when we go back to the office, having a day with no pre-planned meetings is great for mental health

An agency my team works with did this and while I understand it, it was very strange that we and the client had to move long standing meetings around for them, which trickled down into adjusting pretty much every other meeting on our books that week, whether it was with that agency or not. Maybe it could be implemented for net new and all internal meetings, but not have it be external facing?
We started doing this last month, the last Thursday of each month is “Thrive Day” which means no meetings, or at the very least no video on meetings. Was implemented from the top down, with the global ceo spearheading it and sending out an email. Made sure the regional CEOs and MDs were on board too. He also wanted reports of what people worked on instead since it’s supposed to be geared towards career development so like what courses they took.
