Would you quit your job before your bonus was paid believing it would be paid in your two week notice period? My friend just told me that she is going to quit his job next week and count on them paying her 35K bonus still.

Her contract even states that they have the option of not paying if she is not employed on pay out date. She swears that the company is a good company and she won’t have problems. Who is right? Would you ever quit thinking that they would continue to pay you your bonus?

A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?
