Y’all I’m really torn about where to spend MDW... should I splurge and go to my exotic living room or should I be thrifty and only make it to my bedroom?

I’d lean heavily toward treating yourself...you take that wild trip to the living room...you’ve earned it. Maybe you could even swing a long layover in the kitchen for added value?!?

Go all out. Hit the road, and walk at least 85 feet before fleeing back inside.

like

85 is the minimum to count as travel!

Why not splurge and go to the patio/backyard? You’ve worked hard... you deserve the sun and fun.

like

Oh no. How about opening a window? Close, but not quite.

You deserve a hug from your neighbors. Go get em'

Nice I have more than one room flex.

Yes. My windowless bedroom is definitely a flex... if you’re a vampire.

All of the above + takeout to treat yourself!

PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Please remember, when you’re asking for salary information, it’s important to mention where you are located. For example, $100,000 is going to be a lot more in Mississippi than in San Francisco. Thanks guys.

Hi all! I need some candid advice from y'all. How do I get my manager to see my value and see that I'm actually doing a lot of work? But for some reason in my manager's eyes all I do is "meets expectations". I already am doing senior level work as the only senior on our team left a month in... (1)

Went for a pre-employment drug test yesterday. They never asked me if I was on any medications. I had to ask them and was told "oh yeah, just put any you may think make a difference in this text box." I put Xanax, Flexeril, and gabapentin. All of which are prescribed and used as directed. Now I'm terrified that I should have put ALL my meds, to including my psych meds. I've been sober over 12 years and never touched drugs (just booze) but I'm having a full blown panic attack.
