I have 5 years of experience in 3D design & operations. I accepted the offer of 10L from Accenture to come on notice period (90 days). Now John Deere is offering 11.5L based upon Accenture office. Having global economic slowdown in consideration shall I take this offer? Accenture John Deere

Dude, take the job. This is a no-brainer. If you’re worried about being seen as a job-hopper: 1) this wont be an issue until you look for the next job, which could be years away; 2) just take accenture off your resume; 3) if it does come up, just answer with, “while I really liked the work at Accenture, this opportunity was my dream job and offered considerable responsibility that I wouldn’t have gotten for years in my analyst role.” Done. Don’t say more

I tried but they’re hard set on it, also if you want to know (accenture peeps would understand, I️m in CDO) so casually underpaid with not much bonus increase and trajectory in careeer anytime soon
CDO is short for “Client Delivery & Operations,” which is seen by accenture as less competitive from a personnel standpoint. This means the pay bands are lower, the benefits are not as good, etc. The alternative would be “Client & Market,” which is where more traditional consulting folks would sit. Oftentimes accenture will move entire groups to CDO with the knowledge that some of them will transfer back with MD sponsorship, whereas others will leave. This is their way of “fixing the glitch.” OP has an awesome opportunity and should GTFO.

Leave. U are at the start of ur career and I promise you will leave Accenture in the future anyway. Take the chance if ur interested and try. U can fail, ur early enough in ur career to bounce back. Good luck!

Well it sounds like an awesome opp. And you’re excited for the work. And the pay bump is good. Since they pursued you, I would tell you to push as hard as you can for more of an increase but if there’s really pushback, take it

Yes! Ask them to pay the bonus payback you have and jump ship. CDO will not serve you
