Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

Nope, always easy. Just give ample notice and do the work as you’re going out. Don’t burn the bridge and you’ll be fine
Dude, take the job. This is a no-brainer. If you’re worried about being seen as a job-hopper: 1) this wont be an issue until you look for the next job, which could be years away; 2) just take accenture off your resume; 3) if it does come up, just answer with, “while I really liked the work at Accenture, this opportunity was my dream job and offered considerable responsibility that I wouldn’t have gotten for years in my analyst role.” Done. Don’t say more
D3- CDO was designed to compete with Capco, wipro, TCS etc.
I’ve been with Accenture for 6 months and don’t know what to do. This seems lucrative but what options should I consider? Hope you guys can help me out.. j feel so stuck
Is the work interesting and is that a space you wanna be in?
Leave, as long you go on good terms you can always come back, with a bigger bump
Haha it’s client delivery and operations. Client facing work but it’s long term local projects and usually pays less. Its also something I see people move into as they burn out on the consulting side.
Leave. This is a good offer
OP - take the job, do it for 2 years (or more if you like it) come back to Consulting, apply the learnings and move up the ranks, leave again in 5 years to take on an junior exec job in industry.
Salary wise let me clarify: 74k jumping to 90k
Then no doubt take it!
OP is softer than a pillow. How did he get such a good offer at 22 with such a weak, indecisive mentality? Nothing makes sense anymore 🤷♀️
BA1...analysis paralysis
I would recommend you take the offer; have the exposure to an industry company and you can always come back to Consulting with knowledge on how things work outside, and maybe how a consulting company is perceived in order to better your approach in the future
What is cdo?
Take. The. Job.
So it’s staff aug? Sounds like the capco model
Seems like you already know the answer. Take the job and don’t stress. Plus, if you get your MBA in a couple years, it really won’t matter.
If you are CDO, move to the Pharm company, come back to Accenture with a pay increase, if you don’t want to stay.
If you’re in CDO and not making over 70k, then I would leave. Like everyone else is saying, you can always come back
I’ve heard some CDO people start in the 50s
You’ll get 10k more in 6 months
