Anybody exited to Delta? Curious what role and how salary compared.

Hello! Can you please share recent experiences flying with your dog on a plane (in cabin)? Bonus points if it was Air Canada

I saw a post recently that airlines are becoming more strict with the pet’s ability to fully stand up inside their carrier. I’m flying with my 17lbs dog in April and I’m worried I’ll get pushback from the agents. The last time I traveled with her was in August, and we had no issues then.

I'm heading to NJ for a wedding in May and will have some spare time and a rental car. Any suggestions on things to do or eat? We took a trip to NYC few months back so wanted to see more of NJ. TIA! Also go Capital One Miles! Used 36k miles round-trip via British airways to save me about $800 in flight fares.

Finally got my dream offer only to find out last minute they drug test and I’m a medicinal user of THC for my PTSD/chronic pain- told them I eat “Delta-8 gummies” to help me sleep so will test positive for THC. The manager laughed and said he uses the gummies too, and not to worry.

Abstaining from use until I receive the “all-clear” and going to use detox drinks to try to lower the levels in my system, but ugh. I typically vet positions by if they mention “drug-free workplace/test” in the JD

I have a flight at 7a on Sunday but I’ll be out late having fun the night before. If I miss my flight will I have to pay for a new one-way ticket home? Delta and I have Silver medallion.

Do you have to be flying Delta to go to the skyclub? Or American to go to their skyclub?

Please help me make a decision. I am currently working as Business Analyst with Amex at a Ctc of 11.5. I have a offer from a local Australian consulting firm for client Qantas . Shouls I take Australia offer or stay at amex. My long term goal is India .

Is flying standby just as simple as “if there’s a seat open on an earlier flight, it’s yours for free”? I have a flight coming up and I just looked at earlier flights that day and they are a lot of seats available. If I go to the counter of one of those flights before mine will I get on? My flight is about 2 hours later but was much cheaper, which is why I booked it. But if I could fly standby and get on earlier flight for free, that would be awesome. American Airlines flight for reference.

Did anyone else just lose status with American Airlines? Pretty surprised they didn’t extend it with Omicron just recently wrapping up. My last two projects just haven’t traveled much. Sucks to start from zero again.

I use the Lufthansa and Marriott bonus programs (DACH region). I am still new so don’t have any status in either yet. Should I allocate my bonus miles from hotel stays to Lufthansa to get to Frequnt Flyer/Senator faster or keep them with Marriott?

Babymoon advice!

Trying to figure out a Babymoon plan for June or July. Looking at US only (doctor advised against Mexico/Caribbean) but hoping I can find something with a tropical/beach feel, def on the ocean. Flying from the southwest so thinking San Diego or Hawaii possibly. Would love any specific recommendations /hotels / other destinations. Looking to spend under $400/night
