Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Are you meaning who flies for free if you work there? I have a friend there and I believe he only gets one buddy pass that he can use for spouse/friend, etc. I can try to ask to be sure.
Yes I think they said I can fly for free with my kids and spouse but I was wondering about parents on both sides etc
By IRS rules, in-laws are not eligible for flight benefits. Spouses, dependent Kids under 18 (or 24 if in school) get pass travel benefits. Parents of employee also get flight benefits.
You get six buddy passes a year for friends and family that are not considered permanent pass riders. Permanent pass riders are spouses/children under 18/ parents/ if not married you get a travel companion. Inlaws unfortunately would have to go on buddy pass. Hope this helps!
