Will be in the San Diego/Oceanside area next month for about a week, planning on working but taking at least 2 days off to have fun. Other than the SD zoo (definitely going), what are your suggestions for things to see, places to go, etc? (Late 20s, female, generally a chill person but up for adventures)

Hey everyone! I’m a pharmacy tech trying to find a higher paying job, I’m moving to San Diego where the cost of living is much higher than I’m from. Any suggestions on how I can make more money and have flexibility in my schedule? I work 2 jobs now to pay the bills -a hospital gig ($23/hr)and retail ($16/hr) with 5 years retail experience and 1 year hospital…I’m even open to a change in careers all together since I’m getting a little burnt out in the same position thanks!!!

I’m considering making a move to TX from Atlanta, and have the ability to work anywhere with my job. I’m looking to explore Austin and San Antonio and would want to lease/AirBnB for at least a year before I consider buying a condo/home shortly after.

Does anyone have any recommendations on which areas would be good to live in? I’m looking for an urban area with close proximity to stores and markets. I also enjoy going to social outings (i.e. Latin dancing) occasionally. TIA!

Newbie advice?? I recently accepted a payroll specialist job for $23/ hour starting, ability to increase after 90 days. I have little recruiting experience, no school/certs and reside in San Diego area. Is this fair? I want to go back to at least get my bachelors is HR management, and I have an HR internship lined up. Should I go for a masters degree? Or one of the HR certs- and which cert is better? Just trying to figure out the best path for someone aiming to break 100k in the future.

Trying to help my sister secure her J1 job in San Diego this summer from Ireland. She’s a final year international business student, majoring in HR and is fluent in both English and French. I’m seeking senior accountant roles and accounting manager roles here In San Francisco area! However idk what’s going on with job market cus I’m getting offers like 95k or $110k for Senior roles. How do I negotiate? Also early startups don’t pay much it seems like. What should be average salary for senior role. I’ve heard $130k base. Can you please advise.

Offer 1: Base 109K, Remote (I am in FL), $60k RSUs (4-year vesting), bonus up to 15%, a PM role which interests me but I don't immediately have background in. I will be able to stay near friends/family

Offer 2: $145k base, San Francisco area (company will pay for move), $50k signing, $105k RSU (4-year vesting), bonus up to 15%, is a supply chain role that I have background and slightly more interest in, but requires long 10-12 hour days on average.
