I’ve recently been offered an HR position in San Francisco. It seems like a great positions and team, but the cost of living in the SF/Palo Alto region is ridiculous compared to where I am now. Any advice on housing for those live/move in or out the area?

Does anyone live in the EST time zone but work in PST? How do you manage the time difference with your team? Pros/cons? I recently received an offer from a company in San Francisco and am a little concerned about the time difference. My (would be) manager did say that the hours are flexible as long as there is enough overlap. There would be about 5 hours overlap if my hours were 12-5pm est.
