Hi guys, I am a systems engg in TCS with 3 years exp. Technologies known: C, C++, Java, COBOL, Oracle DB, SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell scripting.
I had applied for Infosys in the company portal long back, but haven't got any replies yet. I am looking for the Developer/ Production support roles.
And I am in my notice period, lwd is 27th sept.
Also, have an offer from L&T with doj 29th Sept.

I had 2 rounds and made it to the Panel, but how does that deliberation go? Does the Panel have the final say? If I mess up the panel, will the still take into account that the first 2 rounds went well? Nervous for the Solution Architect Panel interview I have tomorrow.

Job opportunity (mgr title, 4-6 yr exp needed) in Internal Audit (w/ data analytics exposure) at one of the largest private companies in Chicago. I interviewed with them (director and vp) till last round and decided to pursue a different opportunity. Great and caring people who seems to support what you wanna do at this position. Working Moms/Dads: Do in-house positions exist with flex time hours? I need to be able to leave work at 4pm to pick up my son from daycare, but i can get back online at home to resume any unfinished work at 8pm. Is this realistic to convey to any companies in an interview? Pandemic aside, is face time 9-7pm really important? Or should i just try to find a job with a salary that covers a nanny salary and accept that i will never see my son on weekdays (which would be sad for both of us)? TIA!

Interviewed for 2 jobs I am highly interested in. One offered the job already, but the other one hasn’t made a decision yet but should this week. I have until tomorrow to accept the offer but would like to work for the other company if the compensation package is better. Any advice? I don’t want to accept and then have to cancel, but there’s no guarantee the other job will hire me either. 😩

How is WLB in PwC india lately?

Currently making 125k salary with 10k bonus at essentially an assistant controller role. Client wants to hire me and is asking for my compensation range. What is the market rate for an assistant controller in a large private company? They are really really wanting to hire me and willing to pay a little more. They floated around 150k last time we spoke but is there potential to ask for more?

Currently at a super conservative defense firm. I do really well but keep getting the criticism that I tend to just do things on my own initiative. I’m just predisposed to being decisive and rather autonomous. Besides being a solo atty, where would this skillset be better suited? Plaintiffs work?

First time posting here but… I’m currently a 1st year Tax Analyst making 58,000 plus bonus. I was never informed on how raises work for this company, but it’s the end of the year and there has not been any talk of performance evaluation, which I assumed was when compensation would be covered. This is my first “real” industry job so I’m not too sure. Is it too soon in my career to consider looking else where? The area I live has a pretty height cost of living. (F23)
