Should I call the recruiter? I had an introductory phone call with a recruiter two weeks ago about a position. She did not get back to me about setting up an interview with the hiring manager and I emailed her a week later to follow up a couple days before Thanksgiving. no reply. I want to follow up with her now that we’re back from the holidays but I’m thinking calling her will probably be more successful in getting a response. is that too annoying? Or should I just follow up again via email?

About me: Water engineering/treatment and power plant performance experience for nearly 10 years. Just about finished completing my sustainability science masters (physics undergrad) and have my PMP cert. (water and chemistry projects, carbon capture and energy storage r&d - plenty of side projects but not my main job responsibility or title). I have an informational interview with a Managing Director on Friday about a manager role. I currently serve in a client services role and do not have traditional consulting experience (billable hours, etc.). Additionally, while I’ve worked with McKinsey, Accenture, McKesson, and other teams on major projects, I don’t have experience putting together the strategy, more of a support function. Feeling a tad intimidated! Any tips would be so very appreciated!

Had an Excel assessment yesterday as the second to last step in an interview process. I was using a new computer and long story short, had some technical difficulties (or maybe just my own incompetence under stress) and ended up only getting through half of the test. I’m on the fence about emailing my recruiter and explaining the circumstances/asking for a retest. How high does L6 range typically go for Sr Program Manager roles? I am currently at ~250k TC and the position they were interviewing me for hand a max range of 200k TC. Is >300k TC possible?

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

I will also be getting an offer internally at my current work place (which is full time) . Since full time offers more job security. I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.

All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.
