Hi fishies! So I was wondering if I can have some advice on my predicament. I received an offer to PwC, however I received a email to interview for a more desirable role at PwC? What should I do? Am I screwed and have to accept the other role?

Can any MBB experienced hire confirm if GRE or SAT scores are required during the application process? Did you submit any test scores when applying? I’m looking at the BA role at McK, SA role at BCG and SAC role at Bain. I have a masters but my GMAT score is terrible so I am trying to decide if I should apply without the score or spend some time to write GRE before applying.
YOE: 2.5 years of industry experience with a masters.
Appreciate any advice. Thank you.

A few months ago with a local small consulting firm, I had a couple of in person interviews. At the time, I was looking at a jobs in a different cities and was candid about my openness to moving. I got the a rejection letter & reached out. I was told they liked me as a candidate, but the company has gotten burned in the past by people moving away quickly. I have decided I want to stay in the city and will only apply for local jobs. Best way to open communication again? LinkedIn? Cold apply?

Interview ended 5 mins early…good or bad sign?

The wait for an offer after an abundance of rounds of interviews is just sickening like, give me some indication

I’m currently in the middle of interviewing for a role. When I spoke to the recruiter in our intro call, she mentioned that she could see all the other roles I had applied to in that company. There is another role I’m interested in in addition to the one I’m currently interviewing for. I have not received an invitation to interview for this role, however.
Is it unprofessional to ask the recruiter about this position? I don’t believe she is the one hiring for it but I want to convey my interest

Has anyone done the pre-screening questionnaire during the hiring process at Booz Allen and if so, what was your experience? I havent had the last interview yet. This is just a pre-screening questionnaire that they give prospective hires who do not have active security clearance to gauge how long it will take to go through the clearance process. I’m concerned that they may not hire me if they deem me as taking too much time to move through. Thoughts?

Curious if anyone has a recommendation for a business case for an interview. Something that requires someone to think about multiple possibilities, has a strong analytics component but is a real business problem as opposed to “how many manholes in NY”. Thanks

Are virtual interviews better than in-person?

If I am interviewing for a position at PwC and the role says summer/fall should I tell them I am able to start earlier? Have people been able to start a role earlier due to availability or do you have to come in with that hiring class?

Hi All - I am in the last stage of interviewing for Booz Allen. I’m an aspiring consultant transitioning from industry (healthcare). BAH told me the position itself is full time but it is “attached to a contract.” Should I be worried that I would lose the job if and when the contract ends? Would love insight from current or former BAH folks

Deloitte folks - I interviewed for a role and went through all the stages and received the pre-hire survey which I filled out and submitted right away. Fast forward few weeks, I check the online job portal and the position says “no longer in process”. I emailed the recruiter for an update on the process but no reply whatsoever and haven’t gotten a rejection email. Its been a few months now and this lives rent free in my head, has this happened to others? Ty!

Is Global Entry open for interviews on the weekend? It let me schedule an appointment, but the description says it is closed on the weekend. Not sure if that is outdated or correct.

Just interviewed with Moderna. Do you guys think it’s bad if an interview goes over the scheduled time?
Context: we started a few minutes late but stayed on 10 minutes after. There was one question she asked me that I fumbled a bit because I took a bit to answer (it was like a “tell me about a time where you”) question.
She made sure to mention that they are still interviewing other candidates and that they would let me know early next week if they are going to move forward or not. Thoughts? TY
