So I finished all my final round interviews around mid Nov, followed up a week after, recruiter said I should hear back end of Nov.. haven’t heard anything yet. Followed up again last Thursday haven’t heard back yet…. Have they ghosted me?

I’m applying as a Director for a role at FTI consulting.
I’m super excited by the opportunity and I’m having what I believe are the last interviews.
How would you approach the interview with the most senior members (Senior Managing Directors)? What do you think I should prepare?
I’m concerned they’ll take the interview to a technical place where I’m not 100% comfortable (their scope being wider than what I’m applying to and what I know).

If I had an interview on Friday when should I expect to hear back if I got it or not?

Going to ask a potentially dumb question but here goes. When going through and interview, what exactly is the value of knowing a firms CEO and their revenues? Because I’d wager most employees don’t know…

I asked my interviewer at PWC “how does the New Equation strategy tangibly impact your teams work?” and they weren’t able to answer because they didn’t know what it was.

How do I practice building math equations to solve problems in case interviews? It’s by far the highest issue I have. My mental math is on point, I just blank out when asked to build equations

Best way to prepare for PE ops interviews?

How would you handle interview questions around "designing and deploying strategy plans" when interviewing for industry roles, if you haven't worked at single client from long range strategic planning to future steady state?

Hi Fishies! I wanted to get some advice. I received a offer from one team at PwC, however I have a interview coming up with another team. Do I mention that I have already received an offer, but given the opportunity I would pick your team? Or do I not even mention that I have already received an offer?

I’m interviewing at KPMG in their Federal Healthcare Group. Does anyone have any tips and tricks as well as what my salary expectations should be as an experienced hire with 3-4 years experience in health policy?

Currently at a role that doesn’t align with my interest and career aspiration. The demanding culture can’t meet my work-and-life need as a new mom.

What are qualities/experiences that an experienced Consultant should aim to include when applying for a more senior position (e.g., Senior Associate, Manager)?

More specifically, are hiring managers looking for stats heavy (i.e., Increased user adoption for newly implemented application by 10% through removal of training roadblocks) or more generalized (i.e., Identified training roadblock and devised solutions which increased user participation in training)?

How many firms gave you an interview when you graduated and found your first consulting job?

I have a 9-hour long interview with Deloitte next week. What on earth am I going to do for nine hours? When they called me, they simply called it an interview so I assumed it would have been 1-2 hours

I’m thinking of applying to business school but worried I won’t have time to get a solid letter of rec if next years app is due in September. If I take this new role, I’d get a 50% comp increase and more responsibility. I have 4 YOE and have worked at my organization for 1.5 years. Should I take the money or just stay here and get the rec?

Is there an online place where I can find case interview practice buddies? I'm a PhD student from a different background than business and my university's business school mainly comprises undergrads who don't seem to enjoy my company.

Applied to deloitte on Job posting and had partner referral. Partner sent me a link I added CV and cover letter on my own and (think) I applied.

Then got no emailing saying thank you for applying and 3 days later got email saying "thank you fpr interest but job posting has unfortunately closed" WTF
Then I go online and see the same job posted with different Job ID like WTf and new date of posting.
Now do I bug partner on this. Or assume my application went and but they are still searching.(1/2)

How close are YouTube case interviews to real ones? Today attended a case interview workshop at the school consulting club. The speaker was a manager at Bain. But, the case was too simple, an average profitability case. Or is the first round simpler with conventional cases and 2nd one a little harder?

Can someone give some advice on PwC salary negotiation? I know they are in a cohort model, but who makes the decision on what tier you start as. I really impressed the manager interviewing I was wondering if they have the final decision or is it all HR.

I was told it was a three interview process I did my third interview and it was a case. The interviewer commended me after the interview and said I did great. Now they want me to do ANOTHER interview? It way too much.

I have interviews with multiple companies in the span of the next two months. How do you handle multiple offer? The first company today told me they would give me one… so what should I do? Sign them all, pick one at the end of the interviews, and back out of the other offers? Is that even legal? I am so anxious about this. Some companies are vastly better than others, but also harder to get into. I don’t want to back down from an “easy” offer with the hopes of getting into a harder one :(

Hi fishies! So I was wondering if I can have some advice on my predicament. I received an offer to PwC, however I received a email to interview for a more desirable role at PwC? What should I do? Am I screwed and have to accept the other role?

Any suggestions for a platform where I can conduct coding round interview that is similar to google docs, it need not have to have a compiler and is free to use? The doc should be shareable with candidates or anyone.

Can any MBB experienced hire confirm if GRE or SAT scores are required during the application process? Did you submit any test scores when applying? I’m looking at the BA role at McK, SA role at BCG and SAC role at Bain. I have a masters but my GMAT score is terrible so I am trying to decide if I should apply without the score or spend some time to write GRE before applying.
YOE: 2.5 years of industry experience with a masters.

Interview ended 5 mins early…good or bad sign?

A few months ago with a local small consulting firm, I had a couple of in person interviews. At the time, I was looking at a jobs in a different cities and was candid about my openness to moving. I got the a rejection letter & reached out. I was told they liked me as a candidate, but the company has gotten burned in the past by people moving away quickly. I have decided I want to stay in the city and will only apply for local jobs. Best way to open communication again? LinkedIn? Cold apply?

The wait for an offer after an abundance of rounds of interviews is just sickening like, give me some indication

I’m currently in the middle of interviewing for a role. When I spoke to the recruiter in our intro call, she mentioned that she could see all the other roles I had applied to in that company. There is another role I’m interested in in addition to the one I’m currently interviewing for. I have not received an invitation to interview for this role, however.
Is it unprofessional to ask the recruiter about this position? I don’t believe she is the one hiring for it but I want to convey my interest
