I’m not happy where I’m at, my abilities aren’t being maximized as I’m spread thin, and I know I’m being undervalued. Recently graduated and in property management w/ 3-4 years sales experience. Currently on the hunt for Sales/Account Management roles leaning more towards consumer goods, then tech. Any advice?
Looking for advice on project management software or tools for HR consulting. Our firm doesn’t have anything that is standard or used at all, and while some of us are starting to venture into using Microsoft Teams, I feel like there are so many tools out there and we could be doing things way more efficiently. We work in small client teams (1-3 team members per client usually) and it’s a mix of strategy, tactical, and outsourced HR work. Any suggestions?
To those who have several years of experience ion TA: Do you think staying in the campus recruiting space limits you? Should one try to get exposure to other HR areas for the long run?
For those in b2b sales how are your orders placed most? Online, customer service or sales reps?
One of my executives thinks he is being endearing by calling women "Baby" "Gorgeous" "Sweetie" and he calls men "handsome". I have had multiple complaints against him from female employees and vendors. Does anyone know of any good training courses or advice that can help in this scenario?
Are you folks happy with your decision to make a career in sales? I’m young working in tech sales, but also have my bachelors in psychology, and could see my self happily going for my masters maybe even PHD and being a counselor.
Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. I was hoping to get some thoughts on this from others? Thanks
Hello, curious to know what other companies do for employee spotlights besides the traditional email blast to the company. Any recommendations to better the experience for employees?
Advice on taking and passing the SPHR exam?
Hi all! We’re doing quite a bit of hiring on our HR team at LEK Consulting - in particular Manager positions in LA and Boston and a specialist role in NYC. If anyone is interested, or knows someone that could be a good fit, feel free to dm me!
Hey guys! Our teammate is going through a pretty tough time, I wasn’t sure if this would be appropriate to post, but seeing as though this is a sales group, and my man Braxton is a sales beast... I thought I could try posting and apologize later. If you can give please do, if you can share please, if you can pray please, please do. We’re so close to getting his expenses covered, and after all he’s done to show up to our team.. I’m trying to show up to him in my fullest capacity. Thank you!!
First time founder - would you recommend square, stripe or something else for purchases between $150-$10k or what alternatively?
Hoping to get my PHR in the next year or so. Outside of employer reimbursement, are there other opportunities for this to get funded? I know SHRM Foundation offers scholarships for the CP, but I am looking for PHR specific help. Thank you! :)
What's the harshest thing your Buyer has ever said to you? Ex: Buyer emailed my colleague "instead of sharing photos of our empty shelves why don't you spend your time getting us more product"
Now that networking events are virtual and limited opportunity for face to face meetings - how are new leads being generated besides website traffic. How do you "network" at virtual meetings and presentations?
I am a Canadian. I have a wealth of experience in Education and Educational Leadership (Doctoral Level). I am looking for a position in Southern California. I would require sponsorship. Leads? Ideas? Thoughts??
What are some best practices for handling an employee with dare I say, too much initiative? They tend to steamroll others and processes because they are so fast at their job and rather than taking a breather when done, start digging around for new projects outside of their scope. We value them but want to ensure others are given opportunity to thrive too.

When a law firm is looking for a 33/34 act attorney does it need an one working primarily with public companies? Or private companies as well? I’m a corporate and securities attorney, all my clients are private EGC and PE/ VC/ hedge funds, I usually ensure that they are exempted from 33/34 acts
Folks, curious if there is anyone who filed for citizenship after getting green card through work (not through marriage to a US citizen)? I’m married to a non-US person and we have two kids born here. Specifically interested in whether I should be attaching any “additional evidence” like mortgage, tax returns, etc. Based on the instructions it doesn’t seem necessary but I wonder if evidence of property ownership would be helpful? Thanks in advance.
Any job referral please in top MNC as Test Manager/Project Manager/Business Analyst profile for 11 years of IT experienced?
My H1B extension is currently in progress and have received an RFE. I am planning to travel outside the country next week and I can’t return till I have my visa stamped. But will leaving...cont....
Does Big4 hire ACCA individuals from international countries (they will not need visa sponsorship and would be legally authorized to work in USA).
Got an offer to exit to an awesome smaller SaaS company with an amazing culture. They were a top choice out of all the companies I was interviewing with and the role is exactly what I want to be doing. Offer came in at $152k base with $67k RSUs. Team seems great and I had a really good vibe with the hiring manager. Only con is I have to relocate to the Bay Area. Currently 3.5 YOE in analytics consulting at ACN (S&C) at $102k base, but low cost of living. I’d be stupid not to take it, right?
Recently got an offer from a VC as an ops manager there. However I cannot find anything about the VC. Some of their portfolio companies seem legit, but very little information otherwise (nothing except their website). Salary wise is only a slight bump from my current role. Had anyone else experienced the same thing? I like the role but just seemed a little sketched out
Any other Titan users really excited about their upcoming crypto product. Im sitting at about 40% returns all time (2 years in October) in their Flagship fund so I'd like to think their going to do well in crypto. They've also been hiring like crazy which is a great sign
Anyone had applied for the Diversity Visa lottery (GC) and got it? Would love to hear your story! I applied for one myself and will be hearing back in May.
I have an opening on my team for someone with 1-3 years of data engineering experience - solid at SQL and familiar with AWS cloud technology. Looking for an analyst who aspires to be and sees themselves as a creative problem solver. We're conducting a European expansion of a marketing database for a B2B tech client. Our team is at the forefront of how we leverage advanced analytics in advertising and 1 to 1. Role is in Chicago. Eventually we will return to office. Could sponsor if needed.
Do you think that with the new administration it will be easier to get visa sponsorship from big consulting firms? I am currently employed in the US on a F-1 OPT extension, but I will need H1B sponsorship in 2 years. I know that basically no consulting firm sponsors visas (for entry-level / 1 yoe). Has anyone managed to get sponsorship after OPT / heard anything on higher H1B quotas for consulting?
I’m looking to leave consulting. But a McKinsey recruiter reached out to me recently about interviewing. I just don’t have the passion to go through case interviews and then actually work in another consulting company as a PPT monkey. Am I crazy ?
Anyone have lemonade pet insurance? I’m confused by it, it says if I pay 18ish a month more, it covers vaccines, heart worm test, blood test etc but only up to a certain amount. So is it not 80% of my bill? Is another insurance company easier haha
About to go on a flight tomorrow but our toddler has a slight runny/congested nose and some sneezing. Hoping it passes but how do I get in touch with American Airlines to potentially change my flight in the case that he is actually sick? Flight is tomorrow but current ETA for a call back is Weds. They should be able to issue credits or change the flight days after we no-show? Also I’m guessing the airline will not allow us to get on the plane given these symptoms even if he wears a mask?
Is now a good time to close my position on AAPL? I keep seeing stuff saying the next few years will have no returns. I definitely believe the next 5-7 years will be bright for the company. Although it sounds like that’s all priced in.
How much does an equity partner make at Boston Consulting Group / Bain & Company / McKinsey & Company compared to smaller economic consulting firms like Analysis Group?
