Been a coach at the collegiate level for 6 years. Make a $65k salary. Want to leave coaching and break into sales/marketing/recruiting/consulting. I have ample leadership and recruiting experience with a strong work ethic.

I’m assuming I’m going to have to take a pay cut and start toward bottom of totem pole. Any recommendations/advice on roles to apply for since I’m new to the field? Would like to be in tech if possible in Charlotte, NC or remote.

I am in the process of finishing up my MBA but considering also getting my SPHR or PHR cert. Is it even worth it or a waste of time and money?

Hi 👋🏻 Would love some support here - looking to build out a bonus structure for a Sales Engagement Mgr role - it isn't a typical sales role - this person will be closing deals but not necessarily securing leads. If they will be scoring leads, it will be organic via conferences, partnerships. Of course, we want to encourage and incentivize this person. Potentially giving then an extra 20-50k bonus potential. Hi everyone! First time posting here. I am in a good sales role at my current company but it’s my first solid AE role in the tech industry. I am interested in exploring other opportunities as I know there are a lot out there, but is anyone else worried about the current economic state? I’m worried that if I find a new position for a new company and the economy going to sh** that I am worried about job security. Anyone else feel this way?

As an experienced, SHRM certified HRBP , I would just like some feedback on your opinion of the differences in the roles between an HRBP an HR Manager besides the obvious that the manager should have direct reports. I am an HRBP and work in step with 3 HRM’s. They all 3 just got out of cycle raises of between 5-20% 😳 and I received nothing. I am quite aware of our HR code that salary is confidential but I was told about this. Would you be looking for other employment? Or stay?

Would you:

Go for a perm position for a large manufacturing company recruiting assemblers and Machinsts in aerospace. 70k

Or

Temporary contract with the government recruiting for various low skilled work with higher than average wages. Min 82k with possibility of extension

Hi all, I’ve recently onboarded as an HR recruiter with a small NGO. It has been wonderful so far. I want to make the most of my new role. If you have any suggestions or advise, I’d greatly appreciate it.

My company has grown from 50 to 200, and my impact as an HR leader needs to grow from IC activities (recruiter, hr ops person) to.....hr leader. Any tips on doing that (and doing it well?)

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

What's the avg salary for a Client Executive role? (Verizon)

Young professional with 3 years of retail banking experience, 1 year of claims experience, and now roughly 6 months into insurance sales. Between selling in retail banking environment and every month of insurance sales regularly pacing 200% or over to goal. Loving comp but not loving the call center environment and hoping to move to another lucrative sales position with less non stop calls. Any suggestions?

According to an article in LinkedIn new job postings are down for the first time in 9 months but still there over 10 million open jobs with only 5.9 million unemployed workers. Why is it that here I am unemployed over 4 months and still not one offer. Anyone got some positive vibes to send my way it would be appreciated! I’ve been in sales for over 20 years, b2c, b2b and account management as well as sales management. I’ve got great skills and enthusiasm to give to a great employer!

TCS giving USA onsite, ~80k USD ( H1B was expired, came back to India, still 3 years left, have approved H1B extension, not stamped yet) - CCTC - 9.25L
Infosys 24L (21-F,3-V)
JPMC - 28L Fixed.
