Earlier I was contemplating moving to another field in recruitment but now I’m considering switching to another profile in HR where I can do backend processes/ payroll/ hr systems, cz I want to leave the calls and interviews and sourcing.. please suggest profiles I could take a dig in and explore? Hello, which is more beneficial Master’s in Human Resources or PHR Certification?

I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I’ve never experienced this difficult of a time searching for new opportunities. Is this normal once you hit a certain level in your career or is it just me?

Landed an interview tomorrow with Zendesk. I’m so excited for this! The role is for a business development representative. I have around 8 YOE in sales/client services. What kind of questions should I expect to answer in tomorrows interview? Also, can anyone give some insight on salary negotiation, schedule and benefits?

Hello! Will be receiving a $400 stipend from my new org for office setup. I currently have a 15” 2015 Pro, my husband has a Lenovo, I’ll be provided with a work laptop, we have a used office desk.

Fellow enterprise tech sales fish, I’m interested to hear your perspective. I’ve been in a rut lately and seriously considering leaving sales. I think it’s primarily fueled by one thing:
After a 6 mo cycle I closed a large deal (4x the average deal size) prior to receiving delayed 2022 comp plans. The deal counts as a 2022 deal. On last years comp plan it would’ve paid out at 10%. This year it pays out at a measly 4%.

How do you/have you navigated your way through and out of these situations?

I've been interviewing with another company for about a month. The whole process has been 3 interviews over a months time. I have a car lease that I’m trying to get rid of in NY. My in-laws want to buy the car from my lease and give it to their mom, but I would have to buy the car out myself and then transfer the title. The plan is to have 3 people write a check to me for $10k each as a gift. Then I buyout the car using $30k. When I transfer the title to their mom, do they have to pay the tax? The buyout price ($30k) already includes sales tax, and if we have to pay tax again to transfer the title, it’s 👎
