Hello! I've been struggling the last few weeks because someone on my team has been taking credit for my work. This coworker is really good with buzzwords and getting the attention of upper management. I'm feeling discouraged - what should I do?

I am going to move in the next few month to a location with a higher cost of living due to personal circumstances. I love my current company but I’ve only been here a little over a month, how should I go about requesting if it’s possible to get a salary increase? Might be a stretch but thought it might be worth mentioning.

How is it legal for agencies to make you work unpaid overtime on nights, weekends and holidays with the thinly veiled threat of losing your job for lack of "performance" ?

Has anyone here found success as a marketing consultant? I’m interested in one day becoming one and I’m curious what the timeline and type of experiences I should expect to go through before getting there.

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong. Maybe it’s bc I’m a type 8 enneagram, but it frustrates the hell out of me!

Has anyone gone thru a vendor onboarding with InterPublic group (IPG)? Who can tell me what it’s like / what’s involved? We just won a project and in curious… I hear the vendor onboarding / setup is lengthy and “intense” but would love to know how long it takes and what do they need from you that makes it “intense?”
