My team has made tremendous efforts during the pandemic to ensure the safety of all facilities and people in our region as we resume in-office activity. Predicated on confidentiality, my colleague went to HR with negative feedback re a specific leader’s flexibility with the *mandatory* PPE protocol. The HR Manager went directly to the leader and gave the feedback along w my colleagues name. Since that day she’s been heavily “taxed.” HR has a responsibility to protect anonymity. How to handle?
How do you communicate with employees who don't want to wear masks? Unbelievable to me people still have issues grasping this need.
It feels weird posting a LinkedIn post in FishBowl, but I found this post from Jamal very insightful. I would have just copied the text, but I want to give him credit.
Anyone have a Herman Miller chair? I want to get one since my back is killing me. Considering either the Aeron or the Embody. As background I have serious upper back and neck issues, but have never loved chairs that force me to sit super upright. Curious to hear if anyone has any reviews of either model?
For all that HR leaders have done to shoulder the huge responsibilities over the last 6 months, what are your organizations doing to take care of you? For all the space we hold for other people, is anyone holding space for you?
I'm probably overthinking this, but I figured I would ask anyways--what should I swear to a video interview? The position is an HR Generalist position, and will include the hiring manager (director), an HR Manager, a HRBP, and the VP of HR. Other members of the HR may "pop in" as well, but I was told those would be informal meet and greets.

What’s the typical pay structure for non-equity and equity partners? Eat what you kill? Or something different?
Senior litigation associate at a decent AmLaw200 firm in Chicago. Any thoughts on if it makes sense to try to leap to the AmLaw50? How much harder is the internal competition for work/partnership? (For reference, I think firms in the lower end of the AmLaw100 are not worth the move for various reasons.)
Is it “please explain the reason(s) THAT you purchased the subject product” or “please explain the reason(s) FOR WHICH you purchased the subject product”? Plz advise
I am working with a partner that assigns highly complex projects with a lot of responsibility but then gets angry and impatient when I ask questions or bill longer trying to figure things out on my own. It’s a lose lose. Any advice?
Which firms do/don’t differentiate between MBA and non MBAs in terms of pay? Seems silly to drastically underpay homegrown talent operating at the same level as MBAs
What are your thoughts on Uber? Looking at marketing strategy practice as an exit. Anyone heard or know anything about the culture, pay, growth ops?
What's the typical compensation range for Senior Data Scientist and Principal Data Scientist at Quantum Black McKinsey?
Completed all formal interviews for an opportunity. Now they'd like me to have an informal meet & greet with the person I would be managing. I love the idea of this and I already manage in my current role. Looking for other HR 🐠 perspectives on how to approach this informal meet & greet...take the lead? Treat it like a 1:1? Ask what her professional goals are? How she's managed WFH during COVID? Her experience in the company/on the team? Her communication style/how she likes to receive feedback
Saw a thread about being fired. I always want the person to perform so letting someone go or rolling them off a project Is always last resort. Be honest: have you let people go for personal reasons?
For people who have taken a temp pay cut because of covid, how much less (in dollars) are you making each month?

Thinking about going from tax (PwC) to transactional service (mid tier - advisory). Is this possible? If so, what should i expect during the interview?
Currently a Big 4 Consultant, but don’t see myself doing this forever. MBA has always been an idea that I’ve wanted to pursue, but what careers could I pivot to? Ideally less travel. Any ideas/insights into non-consulting post-MBA career paths?
Met this guy at client site and he asked me out. I said I don’t date where I work but happy to get a drink and maybe we could be friends. He told everyone on his team that he’s going out with me....
