Morale is low rn on my team. Superstar team members have left the firm, and more members are trying to leave before busy season because we’ve had to pick up the slack. How to still stay motivated?

Need your advice. One of our worker’s wife is fighting cancer. We know that he needs to take care of her and work the same time to cover medical bills. So we decided to collect money for him. Should I do it secretly and only let him know after I’m done collecting money or should I get his permission first? I need to figure out which way would be less uncomfortable for him. Thanks!

Would love some insight on how you went from an HR assistant/coordinator to an HR Generalist. I’ve been in the HR world for 8 years, and only in the last 2-3 have I really done real HR work. The first company I was at didn’t have a solid HR team so I don’t really count that. I feel like I’m ready to take on more responsibility and learn more. And of course make more money.

Hello All - I struggle with time management. I take medication but I have no idea whether a task will take 40 mins or 4 hours. Because of this, I over commit and under deliver. Also, having been on the receiving end of criticism, over time I have developed a perfectionist streak. I won't turn it in if it is good enough. How do you break out of this habit?
