Got let go after completing PIP (got put on PIP after catching Covid and taking a few sick days to recover while coworkers worked when sick) and was asked by HR to sign a Separation agreement that included keeping sign on bonus, a small stipend (few thousand), and next month’s health insurance, but that I cannot sue them for wrongful termination. Employment lawyers ask for money to review the agreement. Do I pay to review the agreement or sign even though it felt like wrongful termination?

Hello, we are looking at ways to help employees who are required to go onsite, with mileage/transit benefits. We are looking at possibly doing a monthly stipend but not sure what other companies are doing. This stipend is intended to help employees working onsite and assist with the high cost of gas.
