Need advice. I’m a super senior content EP at a well known agency in the U.S., where I’ve been for quite some time. Checked out http://Glassdoor.com, and I make at the high end of the ranges for similar agencies. In the past year I’ve also taken on additional responsibilities (outside of traditional EP duties) that have doubled my workload and raised my profile quite a bit. How should I go about brining up a sizable salary bump (some creatives and even planning peeps earn more with much less responsibility)?
Which one to choose between Optum and Tiger Analytics for Data Scientist position? Where can I expect better data science domain expertise (In my previous companies I found very less understanding of Data Science practices as team)? Heared good things about both of these. Also hearing Tiger is expanding rapidly and getting some crap projects as well in the name of data science. Could someone put light on these things?

If it makes you feel better, I'm 27, have two kids, am the only income provider for my fam, and make 90k salary.
Almost same boat.. it’s getting better little by little but it’s a struggle. I left big firms .. the pay is shit and they overwork you.
probably because you don’t have a budget and live beyond your means
or maybe it’s because the people you compare yourself to don’t have a budget and live beyond their means and/or finance their lifestyle
yup. there is just no way know someone’s true financial situation unless they disclose it. so comparing is not really useful
It’s late rn, but in the morning, go outside take in that fresh air and touch some grass.

Per this website that puts you in the 96th quartile for your age. That is not behind by any metric.
Comparison is the thief of joy
I get where you’re going here but I think OP would still feel behind depending on other factors that the link can’t support. For example: if his role usually pays 130,000 and is getting paid below average. The data set doesn’t take into account for that all. Interesting tho
Compared to who?
Cause you're out of touch and look at tiktok too much
You don’t feel behind. You’re seeking validation for feeling that you’re killing it.
Because you don’t understand what behind means?
I was in college with a part time job at 25. Now at 37 I make 250k. You’re good!
In accounting???
Stop
I make 87k at 25 bro wtf
That sounds a bit delulu my friend.
Unless you have expenses like student loans that take a bite out of your earnings, then ur doing awfully well for your age.
Don't do this to yourself.
Either a troll post or you’re delusional. And you’re an associate making 115k? Lol
I’d say it depends heavily on where you live. That wage in NYC is probably putting you in line with your peers. MCOL or LCOL you are ahead.
You are; 24 making 118k base
25 making $115K is great… not sure why you would feel behind?

You either grew up really well off and your comparison of doing well doesn’t match most of the population, or you’re spending way too much time online and seeing people with even crazier salaries for their age, and need to touch the proverbial grass.
