4 rounds deep in an interview process right now and I’m in a bit of a pickle… I got excited during the first couple rounds and said I was still at PwC when I actually left in May. I have 1 more round to go with the highest level senior.

I really want this position and feel terribly guilty about not being forthcoming.
What do I do if I make it to the background check?

For the people who earned the SHRM-CP, did you feel it was worth it? I have an indirect HR position, been applying for more HR focused positions and wondering if this would help. I got the CAPM (certified associate of project management) in December, but that hasn’t really changed things. Would love some opinions before working on another certification!

I’m a Junior product manager with a Master’s in Healthcare Management. I feel like the current company that I am at has my title as JPM, but I am doing PM work i.e creating product roadmaps, collaborating across stakeholders (business, marketing, design teams), creating user stories/features, etc. and I feel like my work isn’t being valued and I’m constantly being micromanaged by business teams expectations.

Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.
