Rule of thumb is to add 10-15 points to your Becker exam score. Becker exam is muchhhhhh harder
Don’t over study! 😜 join the 300 club
Becker is usually harder and 71 should put you right in there. However, don’t stop there. You should be aiming at least for the mid 80s-low 90s in Becker
71 is not enough. You are ready when you start getting 91 or 101.
Frankly I did much worse than that on the Becker exams, mine went up by 30 points fwiw
I was getting 70s on the Becker practice exams and my actual score was 92 on FAR so you should be okay.
Good job. Keep it up.
That sounds about right. CPA is all about crushing the MC, and just getting lucky/ surviving the SIMs. Good luck!
The overstudy meme is wrong. Don’t fall for it. Study for the highest score possible. Taking Cpa sections is stressful and expensive enough.
I think 64 was my highest for Becker FAR and I got an 81 on the actual exam. 1st try
I generally scored 10-15 points higher on the real deal, but even still I’d study just a little more on the hard stuff with a 71 Becker score
Oh, I just remembered. If you look on the accounting subreddit a user keeps track of Becker test scores converted to actual test scores based on the results of other users
I usually got mid 70s on becker, actual far score was 90 on first try
I never took any Becker practice exams but on the homework I averaged 50-60% on ones I completed and I got 83 or above on every exam first try
