Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months.It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup.In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much.But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Umm no, @OP, don't try and make your own echo chamber in this thread. People who disagree should be able to do so, as long as they aren't being racist or otherwise offensive.
@D4: There's a massive gulf between "feeling" oppressed and being oppressed. That's borne out by the data that shows disparate outcomes between whites and people of color, the countless stories of how police treat African Americans differently from caucasians, etc.
I'm just trying to make enough for myself. :(
@D2: Same spectrum, different extremes
They are on the same spectrum - the self perceived oppression white people feel they endure is what drove the ex Google employee to write his manifesto and provoke a race riot.
OP that is unadulterated popycock. The white nationalists and the Google engineer have little in common except skin color
Did you just make a claim that the race riot was a result of the google memo?
I want to talk about the shit that happened today. It's messed up and should have never happened. Extremists make the far right look like monsters just as well as the far left can look batshit crazy. It blows that the country is so damn divided over political beliefs when at the end of the day, we're all humans and fundamentally want the same things. It's great people are so passionate about their beliefs, but a damn shame that they let them consume their lives and manifest hate for ppl who don't agree with them. I will say this to you though...don't believe that white people can't feel oppressed. Perhaps it's on the same spectrum as the oppression blacks face, just on the opposite end ;)
I mean first we have the Google memo. Then kkk. What's next?
I said it's the same spectrum. Read.
I did read it. It just made no sense. Keep trying to sound smart though.
Man please shut the fuck up. You not getting it or not agreeing doesn't invalidate it. If you don't get how white entitlement ties into both of these situations, cool. Can you reject the racism that happened today? No? Ok, cool. This isn't about anything but that. Move the fuck along.
This is a low ass bar. But some of you want to get your feathers ruffled because I said there's a spectrum of white men who believe they are oppressed. That imaginary oppression propels many to write ignorant manifestos and invoke riots. If you disagree, start your own thread.
Also, I'd argue the far right are "monsters" by many definitions. No empathy for the actual lives lived by the poor, the sick, the immigrants, or women. And that's coupled with a general lack of respect for democratic institutions, honesty, and the like.
^people read and disagreed.
Cool.
@D3 you can disagree, being disrespectful and dismissive is what provoked the response. There's no way I'm creating an echo chamber on fishbowl either btw. Even on this thread, most aren't actually disavowing the racism but arguing with me 🤷🏾♂️.
White people are *not* oppressed in this country in any way and best have been. That's what I'm talking about. Smh. Clearly they feel oppressed, that's why they put on a Nazi rally and committed acts of domestic terror today.
