Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. She’s only coming back part time. My leadership already said no to hiring another full time recruiter. Has anyone had any good experience with contract recruiters? I am a technical recruiter with three years of experience. I am currently interviewing at a series B tech start up located in CA for a fully remote position. I am currently in Texas and don’t have to pay state income taxes. I am making about 90 K and would love to bump up my salary from there. My question is, what is a fair salary to ask for that will factor in both the new income tax and a raise? My other question is what is a fair salary in general for somebody with three years experience?
