I’m in between projects. I have been for a while now. So if anyone is looking for a freelance copy and u/x writer, put me in coach! I’m available to work.
Check out my portfolio and let me know if we’re a good profit match.

I’m also open to feedback on my portfolio. Thanks!

+1 to the standing desk and multiple monitors. Also recommend
- ergonomic chair
- block time for lunch everyday & get out of your working space to eat it. Go for a walk. Stick with this.
- have an alt place to work for if you get tired of being in the house
- deep dive into the company's comm channels - find your people & create your community
I would definitely get a 2nd or 3rd monitor and a standing desk is a good investment!
Ask IT or HR for anything you need technology wise, and if you want a specific model of something just ask. This way you can spend more of the stipend on other things like a chair and desk.
Before you spend a dime, be sure to get the rules for how the money can be used, how it is reimbursed, and most importantly -- what happens if you separate from the company.
Do you have to pay it back if you resign in 2 months because a dream job came along? Or, if you are fired in 5 weeks because a boss hates you or whatever, do you have to pay back a portion?
Make sure you understand what your obligations are before you spend the money, get it in writing and forward to your personal email.
If I like the terms of the stipend, I would blow it all on an Aeron...but you'll have to throw in a few hundred of your own too.
