+1 to the standing desk and multiple monitors. Also recommend
- ergonomic chair
- block time for lunch everyday & get out of your working space to eat it. Go for a walk. Stick with this.
- have an alt place to work for if you get tired of being in the house
- deep dive into the company's comm channels - find your people & create your community

I would definitely get a 2nd or 3rd monitor and a standing desk is a good investment!

Ask IT or HR for anything you need technology wise, and if you want a specific model of something just ask. This way you can spend more of the stipend on other things like a chair and desk.

Before you spend a dime, be sure to get the rules for how the money can be used, how it is reimbursed, and most importantly -- what happens if you separate from the company.

Do you have to pay it back if you resign in 2 months because a dream job came along? Or, if you are fired in 5 weeks because a boss hates you or whatever, do you have to pay back a portion?

Make sure you understand what your obligations are before you spend the money, get it in writing and forward to your personal email.

If I like the terms of the stipend, I would blow it all on an Aeron...but you'll have to throw in a few hundred of your own too.

For the Slalom fish out there what is the remote / office culture these days? I understand that each office tends to operate more in a local model and there is a smaller global model. If you are in the local model is there a higher expectation on coming into the office since your team is more likely in the same city? Or is it up to the individual?

I have 3 days to accept the TCS offer and i also have 1 offer from CTS ( with almost 2.5 lakh more). The problem is it doesn't make sense to join just for 40k more because of expensive city life. Is there any way to negotiate with TCS or CTS HRs for wfh and maybe with a lesser package. Please Suggest.

Is it normal in IBM?

How much will be the notice period if I resign in probation, assuming I joined a week back? I feel I made a mistake rejecting other offers and joining IBM.

I’m from the Account side but I’m looking to switch things up in my career and move over to Project Management. At my current agency the role I have been holding doesn’t seem to have that type of transition opportunity. Due to that lack of flexibility I have been searching for hybrid or remote options. The idea presented itself a few months ago when I was recruited by an agency slightly larger than my own. I made to the top three but was not selected for the position. Any leads advice welcomed!

I have this broken down into, client communication, internal communication, and project setup / maintenance. What else should I track?
