Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

D has been pretty rough lately, but I am guessing everywhere has been pretty rough. We have had a pretty large amount of people leaving, and I expect even more will leave in June. WLB has been the worst I've experienced in my 10+ YOE. Also, this place is very much tenure based. Doesn't matter if you're doing awesome, you'll likely have to do time at set intervals (but that's not the case for everyone, especially if you're in with partners).
Hopefully, if you join, you'll have a great experience though
I dont have experience from Accenture to Deloitte but i can say most of the SMs at Deloitte looked like they were in hell. They were always stressed, getting pressure from all sides, and i dont know if wlb exists. I don't have much exposure to them due to covid/wfh but I'd say it really depends on the team, sector, and overall environment. 50k sounds really nice but you'll probably be looking to move again after a year or so which is not necessarily a bad thing! Take the jump but be prepared that you'll have a busy life for the time being. And prepare your family too.
Depends what practice in Deloitte, but in general take the pay bump and if it’s worse than Accenture just boomerang back with the increased salary after a year or two.
Accenture and Deloitte are the same company IMO. Take the comp.

Is this a lateral move for you? SM to SM?
What do you think?
Assuming $50k is over 30% of extra guaranteed comp I’d say take it. That additional pay is worth the risk. Maybe ask for a bit more comp or singing bonus to sweeten the deal.
