Hello, I have an offer from Publicis Sapient for their product management internship program. Wondering if anyone has any insight into the program (exits, etc) and how the return offer looks like in terms of salary. The projects you work on will vary depending on the client's needs. You could be working on developing a custom application, implementing and configuring enterprise software, or working on a digital transformation initiative. So yes, it is considered consulting.
I would be careful about accenture. They just announced 19,000 layoffs. It would be considered consulting but be careful about where you apply/work. In terms of work, depends on what department you are in/speciality in consulting.
A lot of the algorithm making ended up being assigned to offshore resources. Occasionally I had some statistic related programming to do or creating a tool for managing their data but again, more related to data visualization and querying - especially when first starting out.
I'd say it is considered consulting. But your projects are not fixed. They may change based on what your client needs or want you to do. Best of luck!
