@A1 that makes zero sense. Polish up that resume and look elsewhere. 0% raise is a slap in the face and I'm embarrassed to work for a company that would do that.
I'm sorry your let down, we do some interesting things as a firm sometimes especially around compensation. Best of luck, and know that over time it does pay off
A1 it's a year of being fair those that were under paid in their ranges and performed well received appropriately. Unfortunately those at the top end of the salary scale were not given increases unless they were an invaluable resource in their DTE and also brought in extra revenue. This is a first year that the shift was removed from administration and brought down to those closer to observe priorities and performance. Next year I think it will be more balanced.
Could be worse. I was accelerated promo and got a 0% increase.
Apparently I'm above the salary range for my level. I like to think that's cuz I busted my ass to get raises the last 4 years...and now I get penalized because of it.
Well that confirms my dissatisfaction with my 5% raise and 7% bonus in a promotion year in which I worked my ass off.
@A1, I'm sorry to hear that. How is that even possible? Defies all logic.
"Over time" - thought this was about careers, not index funds
Good luck friend
A1 same. Got 0% base increase. Not promo year but great feedback and year end... I know I am on a higher range for salary but that's offensive
I get it, are there folks that we need to bring up to a competitive salary? Yes absolutely. Should we give aggressive raises to ALL below salary...absolutely not. Should we cap high performers? Not at all. Bottom line, the socialist approach to normalizing all salaries is embarrassing. It nullifies all the hard work high performers have done to this point. Essentially removes motivation to be on their A game.
If you're really thinking that the firm messed up (and be honest with yourself) for your comp - go to your DTE lead. There's always a few pennies kept back.
@a6 technology, hps, unrightfully moved to cdo last year which is probably why I was under comp'ed
CC just released results to me but is on PTO all week..
No
@OP my percentages were flipped but I agree
It is really dependent on the performance of your given group which isn't always fair, especially for top performers
Yup. Exactly my thoughts.
So I disagree, I think a lot of high raises were given to folks with high salaries based on my readings and convos with people on my project
Well again three facts: 1. Know the range of DTE. 2. Know the rare value within that DTE like Iris Biometrics SME. 3. Revenue generated this could be project savings as well.
