Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.
What do you think?

Hello 🦈s,
Role: SAP ABAP
Current: 8 LPA
I am having offer from LTI for 10.5 Fixed & 1 Mouritech for 12 LPA Fixed.
I have also cleared PwC India interview & HR has told me that they can give me 10.5 as Fixed (Before 12 offer). I have not yet received the offer letter.
Now my question is will PwC consider this offer for the re-negotiation? Or will they not release the offer letter itself?
Also what should be my ask for a SAP ABAP Developer with experience of 3.3 Years?
Thanks in Advance 🙏

I was at PwC for 2.5 years then left for Accenture. I have been at Accenture 2 years and it’s the best decision I have made.
I am in MC
This is a pretty dumb question ... both firms are big and things vary greatly based on teams and clients ... come on now
Most valid answer on here
ACN > PWC
If you’re talking technology, Accenture is far ahead of PwC. If you’re talking Audit and Tax, PwC is far ahead.
I can say that I hate the culture at PwC, and I’m in the technology space. It’s a mess and I am not sure it’s fixable anytime soon.
Accenture doesn’t do audit and tax...
For tech consulting, Accenture is better. PwC has a bunch of recovering accountants and auditors running tech consulting.

Tell us which practices OP and we can provide a better answer
Good advice.
PwC name brand > Accenture name brand
But in practice will differ based on team
My career is split between PwC and Accenture. I happen to be at PwC now. It’s an impossible question to answer without sitting down for a long discussion. Either will be what you make of it. One is better than the other for specific practices. I joined PwC because we’re better at the specific thing I do than Accenture is. But, there are arguably plenty of practices at Accenture that are better than PwC. Pick the one where they offer the best platform for you to be the best consultant you can be.
Accenture has more of a established culture focused on tech/innovation and will thus attract talent in those spaces. Also have met great people, but pwc seems better for lateral movement if you care about career progression more
Can I ask why you think pwc is better for lateral movement? What factors are you looking at?
I worked at both. PwC MC and Accenture Strategy. Both are great places to work.
Because PwC grew through acquisitions, there are pockets of cliques from other firms that live on and are talented - Diamond consulting for IT strategy, PRTM for ops consulting, Booz for Strategy, so the network you end up aligning yourself plays a big role in the type of work and competency of your peers. “Legacy” PwC is probably the weakest in terms of strategy or tech, but there is not one pervasive “PwC” consulting brand - part of the reason they struggle to gain traction. Market perception - PwC is below Deloitte for general management consulting, and not really apples to apples in comparison with ACN, as PwC is less a go-to option for tech consulting. I have worked at PwC and Deloitte at senior levels to make that assessment.
I mean isn’t Harvard better than all other schools? No duh!
Accenture by far
ACN has more anti-vax
I hope this isn't true
PwC was in shambles when I left. They are only prestigious in terms of audit and risk services (they really are the best in this space).
For anything close to true management consulting, they totally lag behind ACN/Deloitte/MBB and any other notable boutique for that matter (ATK, OW, etc).
It’s always better on the other side. I’ve worked at 3 of the Big 4, joined Accenture a few years ago. Liking it so far.
I was considering joining the Analytics and AI groups at PwC. Any insights into these groups?
A8, PWC is struggling to build their Analytics & AI consulting practice - unfortunately it’s due to mishaps with the leadership. The last year people’s survey and the practice turnover highlight that.
ACN is stronger
Taste great, less filling
