You are overthinking it. Enjoy the new role and the higher salary

Yup, this.

Agree. Enjoy the new job and pay. If you start asking around, some will say you'd need 20 things (equity, stocks, etc.) plus a 35-50% raise. Live and enjoy YOUR life and achievements. Not everyone's the same and what you received seems very/more than reasonable (I'd be very excited getting that after 1 yoe).
The % shouldn’t be a hard number i.e. if you love your current role maybe it’s higher, if it’s toxic a breakeven or even paycut might be appropriate. You set your own journey, if you’re excited about the role/wlb/salary that’s all that matters.

Overthinking. That’s a good salary bump
Isn’t it closer to a 19% raise?

No worries 😂 glad to make the move seem even better from salary point of view
What company did you accept at?
If that's what makes you excited, go for it. However, think about the intermediate term. 3 years from now, your current peers who stay in consulting will have been promoted twice and will be making 150k base (a guess, and assuming a promo at the 2 and 4 year marks). Your new job pays 16k more today, which is a lot of money when youre 23, but will the pay grow as fast? Will you be making 120k in 3 years and be jealous of your friends making 30k more than you?. Will the wlb difference still matter as much then? Just be sure you think about the next few years before accepting.
