Best / Biggest Happy Hour City in the US?
Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

Knee pain is common for old people, welcome to old age
Go to a doctor
Chief
I think you might have overly extended your knees or done something off/ over loaded. Otherwise it’s not normal
Seek professional examination to be sure though
1. See a doctor
2. Look at knees over toes guy. - he has excellent videos on strengthening the most overlooked muscles (like shins) that contribute to knee pain, especially overtime.
3. Check your stride, step, natural waking motion (consult with doctor). I found that I over pronate naturally when I walk, and load most weight in the outsides of my foot which overtime has caused some issues with my knees and had to get special shoes to correct + bio correction of how I walk
Rest of the advices here are great. In addition to that, also ensure you stretch properly before and after your exercises.
Thanks this is a great advice
At 39, your joints have probably weakened a bit due to your age. I’ve changed my routine up now for similar reasons- back, shoulders, and knees. I do spin or swim for cardio and only lift 3x a week. Even though I don’t do legs anymore, they look better now than when I squatted do to all of the spin. If you’re running, definitely look at getting sized at a running store as they can do wonderful things. If the pain persists, you may want to see an orthopedic.
I will say that I started running regularly again this year, and have found that I need to balance it with a lot of leg strength training/biking to help reduce knee pain. Running is all well and good, but prepare for things to get achy if you don’t also stretch and mix in strength training to make sure all the muscles in your legs are being developed to help support your joints. Oh, I also have custom orthotics to put in my shoes which really helps comfort-wise. Godspeed!
