After 1.5 years of interviewing, I somehow managed to nab 3 offers in the past week that leaves me with an interesting predicament. All are non-tech roles; can anyone provide insight on their WLB and growth? I have a mortgage in SoCal that’s been playing into this difficult choice otherwise I’d 100% choose Google.

Google, and don’t let the house handcuff you, sounds like you’re early in your career, I highly recommend not making that handcuff mistake. Google brand early on has immense unquantifiable upside, which you may appreciate down the road
This! Too young to let these handcuffs get ya!

Great offer from Google. Sounds like an L3 role with a lot of upward mobility. I joined at a similar position and was able to increase my comp to over 300k within several years.

Biz role.
Role at Databricks?
Within S&O
Databricks offer is the highest current TC and has the most upside potential. Their current valuation has potential to 2-3x by the time you fully vest. You’ll also have more opportunity for career progression as they grow. It seems like a no brainier to me and surprised most commenters are saying Google.
Google it is.
What’s the role at google? Is there a bonus as well?
Finance ops, 15% bonus
Congrats OP, out of curiosity what was your role/offering portfolio at Deloitte?
Thanks! F&EP
I agree with the other commenters! I’m also from SoCal and I know how hard it is to leave especially if you were raised there but I definitely don’t regret moving someplace else for a year+ since it did open my eyes to different cultures/people and now I know a ton of people in lots of different places :)
It’s also a great networking opportunity to be up there since most teams are in the bay.
You should also be able to transfer to a different location or switch roles in SoCal if you really dislike the bay. You should also be able to talk to your hiring manager about location if that’s really important to you.
Wish has the lowest upside, unless you’ve evaluated if they can be acquired. Then again, I’m unfamiliar with their business health
Congrats! Wow, I'm super jelly lol
Google, great pull with 2 yoe too
Should have mentioned that I can’t see myself in the bay long term; so not looking to sell the house

You can buy a new better one when you get back.
Sell the house stash the money buy a bigger house later when you leave the bay area
