It's just media hype. Anytime the media can jump on something, they do, and they will not let it go until they saturate us with coverage. I'm just waiting for this to blow over when the next "big thing" comes along.
I’m ready for a new story
As both a longtime Swiftie and die-hard Chiefs fan, I couldn’t be more thrilled about this entire scenario! What’s funny to me, is that even by expressing your disinterest, you’re generating further convo about them. None of us can escape it, so you might as well embrace it :)
Taylor Swift is also a huge champion for females who want to go after their dreams and be successful in their career, which I see as a hyper-positive message. She’s endured some of the most challenging hurdles to get where she is today, which is a big reason why she’s such an inspiration. And now, she’s with one of the most celebrated and outspoken NFL players in history. What a COMBO.
That, is the big deal. 🙌🏼
Glad you’re enjoying the show though! Are you excited for them to break up? It’ll inspire more headlines and more new music!
Not at all, I don't think most people actually care. It's just a massive storyline because she's probably the most recognizable musician around and he's a high-profile football star. The media is naturally going to put it them in the spotlight for clicks, which leads to an insane amount of coverage of them. Celebrity culture stuff.
Click bait journalism is the worst
Parasocials. People love to follow their favorite celebs lives, be it through social media or tabloids. The media will earn money from fans clicking on their site, so they’ll milk them until the next it couple becomes popular
One the one hand marketers in those fields are making bank, but for those who care about ethics and morality this is annoying
There’s more important things happening in the world like G cide in the Middle East. Pls 🙄
EXACTLY. Can they please do a PSA and condemn the G-cide asap
Some folks just love obsessing over the private lives of people who don't even know they exist. A few of them even make it their personal mission to defend them at every turn like they're somehow gonna get rewarded or noticed for it. Let them waster their time and energy in worshipping celebs.
Wow… sounds like you’re not a big fan of celebrities in general. I can understand that perspective. Why do we care about their lives anyway? It’s not like they are about ours
We've all got our own interests and passions, and it's totally okay if Swift and Kelce don't float your boat. Just gotta roll with it and focus on the stuff that does spark your interest. Life's too short to worry about what everyone else is obsessing over. You could just mute their keywords in your socials.

I’m glad we’ve moved on from those headlines now! Took about a week
