Would love to hear about your gardening leave experience, especially in the event production sector, i.e. Gartner, Forrester, etc. I’m planning my resignation and I’m unsure if I should plan my next endeavor around it. I plan to continue my career in event production but as an in-house producer for a solution provider, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Delta reward miles suck. United all day errdayyyy
That’s not his this works OP. You can transfer 1:1, but 1:1 doesn’t mean the redemption value is the same. Different points have different values compared to $s depending on where you redeem
Airline miles typically don't have a fixed value (with the noteable exception being Southwest). Instead, they normally have fixed prices (example: 25,000 miles for a Saver award, 35,000 miles for a standard award, etc., with these being independent of $ price)
That being said, the typical value you can expect from a Delta mile is supposedly 1.3 cents - YMMV since Delta does not publish an award chart and their redemption options vary wildly. This is why many of us in the points game avoid Delta

1:1 conversion but the value is not 1:1

Where can I transfer skymiles to?
Amex points used to book flights through the travel portal are tied directly to flight prices and are worth ~1 cent each (unless you have the Business Platinum). One thing to note, sometimes the flights on their portal are more expensive than you can find elsewhere.
So to sum up, if the flight is relatively cheap it might make sense to book thru Amex; if it's not, usually the better idea is to transfer to Delta
Delta SkyPesos are the worst in the biz. Your AXP MR points could be used for something more valuable. Besides AXP charges (or used to) a big excise tax fee on the transfer.
