Lol - very unlikely someone makes it far enough through the process to get an offer - at an EM level no less (which never happens) - and then decide actually I don’t want this job.

Smart decision. Accenture is awesome.
I hope so. I will be starting soon and I am black. I see people saying that it’s not good for black people. Idk, I came from an office in the fed gov that was all black and that was the most hostile experience that I have ever encountered in my life, so I’m hoping Accenture is not worse.
Did they forget to mention how the mega funds were tripping over themselves to give your ex colleague an offer too and throwing money at them?
Probably got a direct call from Bill Gates telling them not to jump ship.
Maybe a chronic liar?
Ya you are missing something. A lie detectir
Who in their right might would want to leave Accenture for McKinsey even for more salary?
Lol.

McKinsey would never give a consultant with if they 60 years of experience, an EM offer. Especially if your colleague was making 65k as a salary
They may have learned about job expectations during the process and decided they want to keep their life.
