Best way to beat behavior questions is to be very concise and do not over share.
I can't say too much to the coding part because I don't know your capabilities, but as far the behavioral part I think it comes down to being relaxed, honest, and straightfoward
Prepare and practice. Summarize scenarios you’ve went through that fit into the most asked behavioral questions. Emphasize your actions and impact. Be able to pivot these scenarios to fit behaviorals you didn’t prepare for. This helps if you find yourself struggling to come up with answers on the spot or if you tend to ramble.
If confidence is an issue, do mock interviews with friends. This includes coding exercises. Use leetcode or some other coding exercise platform and pretend you are doing the coding assessment with a friend where you do the code and talk through your process.
BA1 has some solid points. You have to "rehearse" a lot (even though you feel super dumb/awkward doing it) and have a few scenarios mapped out to go with different parts of your resume that you get asked around. I had a friend who was a recruiter, her and I ran through interview questions and she was able to catch stuff and help me reposition things etc because I kept using the same examples. Don't doubt the power of a mock interview haha!
Interviewing has gotten harder over the years. It feels like a job and skill all on its own now. The best you can do is approach it like it's a job.
Read the green Bible “Cracking the Coding Interview”
Coding is going to be pretty tough to finesse on, but behavioral questions have always been about character, instinct and integrity. If you can be your true and authentic self, that portion of the interview should come naturally (given that you practice beforehand as well).
